Terms
What you're signing up for. What we promise.
Last updated · May 5, 2026
ReceiptHook is pre-launch. You're joining a waitlist, not buying a product. Here's what that actually means.
What this is
You're signing up for the waitlist for ReceiptHook — a future digital-receipts product for indie merchants on Square. The product is still being built. You're not signing up for it yet, you're saying you want to know when it's ready.
What you can expect
- An email from us when ReceiptHook is ready for early access (estimated late 2026 — but we won't promise a date).
- Occasional progress updates if we change something significant about the product, pricing, or timeline.
- The right to leave the waitlist anytime by replying to any email or emailing hi@receipthook.com.
What we promise
- Honest emails. No clickbait subject lines, no fake urgency. We tell you what's actually happening.
- Never sold or shared. Your email and waitlist data stay between us. Not sold to advertisers, not shared with affiliates, not handed off to a CRM vendor.
- No surprise charges. You'll only ever pay if you actively choose to subscribe to ReceiptHook when it launches. Joining the waitlist costs $0 and always will.
- Transparent communication. If we change pricing, push timelines, or pivot the product, we email you with a plain-English summary before the change takes effect.
What we don't promise
- A specific launch date.
- That the price will stay $29/month forever — though if you're in the founder offer (first 50 shops), you're locked in for life.
- That every feature shown on this landing page will ship in Phase 1. We'll tell you what's in scope when early access opens.
- That ReceiptHook will definitely launch. If we determine the wedge isn't viable after the validation phase, we'll email everyone on the waitlist explaining why and pointing you to alternative tools.
Eligibility
Anyone with a valid email can join the waitlist. The product itself, when launched, will require a Square merchant account (initially) plus the standard requirements of running a business in your jurisdiction.
If we change these terms
We'll email everyone on the waitlist with a plain-English summary of what changed and why, at least 7 days before the change takes effect. The version date at the top of this page always reflects the current version.
Governing law (such as it is)
ReceiptHook is built and operated by an independent founder. Until we're incorporated, treat this as a good-faith agreement between two adults: we don't try to trick you, you don't try to abuse the waitlist. If you're in the EU/UK, GDPR applies as described in the Privacy policy.
